Good morning Bülent
Cetin Kaya was declined access to EPF because of his International
Wholesale Data Sales Mngt.associate Director title.
However, he claims that he is basically a Peering Manager. Can you confirm?
Turkcell (AS34984, [0]) is our customer in Istanbul and Frankfurt and
also a customer of AMS-IX and LINX.
Greetings
Arnold

Dear EPF
Thank you for reviewing my registration.
I understand that my current title might have raised a flag regarding
the "no-commercial" policy of the forum, and I appreciate your diligence
in maintaining the technical integrity of the event.
However, I would like to clarify that my role at Turkcell Superonline is
highly technical and operational, focused heavily on Interconnection and
Peering Coordination.
While my title aligns with the business/account management side, my
primary responsibilities for this event involve:
∙ Discussing BGP session establishment and routing policies directly
with potential and existing partners.
∙ Analyzing traffic flows, latency optimization, and capacity planning
for our network
∙ Managing our PeeringDB presence and ensuring technical alignment with
other networks.
My objective at the forum is strictly non-commercial. I am attending to
discuss network architecture optimization, traffic exchange, and to meet
our technical peers to improve our interconnection strategy. I have
absolutely no intention of conducting aggressive sales pitches or
violating the forum's guidelines.
Given this context, I kindly request a re-evaluation of my application.
I would be more than happy to provide any further technical details
about our network strategy if needed.
Thank you for your time and understanding.
Best regards,
