IMO, this is a PC decision. The PC are the ones representing the attendees and what they want to hear.
When will your schedule be 100% confirmed. Not having a full agenda a week before the event does not look good.

actually, we never had a CEO update, but always the IXP Update from the
host (see e.g. [0]; @Julia: the 2026 website still has 2025 in its headers).
When starting with the programme, Caro advised to use the 2025 agenda as
a skeleton. That's what the PC did.
IOW: the slot is in as you can see from the programme [1] (Again @Julia:
please check [2] as the schedule is not yet 100 % settled).
Can the orga team please check with their marketing teams on the IXP
Update slot?
