We were not aware that 6connect had been acquired by Hilco Global.

 

As we understand it, 6connect no longer exists as a separate entity. Therefore, you cannot use the 6connect AS number to register for EPF as Hilco Global.

 

The same applies to Aaron, whose registration we will also need to decline.

 

Hilco Global is currently not peering at any of the four EPF host IXPs or the guest IXP.

 

Therefore, the only way for Hilco Global to attend EPF is by becoming a sponsor.

 

Please let me know if you are interested in sponsoring EPF. We would be happy to provide you with more information about the available sponsorship options.

Dear Giulia,

Thank you for your interest in the European Peering Forum.

Unfortunately, your registration for the forum has been declined because you are not peering at any of the four EPF host IXPs and/or the guest IXP. If your company has concrete deployment plans at one of the host exchanges you are also welcome to attend EPF. Please verify.
Also EPF is a networking event for the peering community, not a commercial event. As such, any commercial/sales personnel from the participating networks are discouraged from registering.
