by Arnold Nipper

Thank you for your message. We have reviewed your request, but we cannot accept your registration. As stated in the event requirements, attendance for networks is strictly limited to active customers of the organizing partners. Please be advised that the organizing committee is strictly enforcing these criteria this year without exception. Consequently, we cannot grant access to the event or the venue, regardless of any travel or accommodation bookings you may have already made. We request that you refrain from making further arrangements for this or future editions unless your company holds an active customer status. Thank you for respecting our event policies. Currently, it means attendees, leaving room for 10 to 20 organisations. Greetings Arnold

by Carolin Geib

Dear Philippe, I hope you are doing well. Thank you for your email. You are correct—you are a customer of DE-CIX. For EPF, all four organizing hosts have agreed to adhere strictly to our policy regarding attendance, due to limited capacity. As a result, we are unfortunately unable to make exceptions as we may have done in previous years. According to the policy, organizations that are peering at any of the four host IXPs and/or the guest IXP are welcome to send up to two participants to EPF free of charge, provided they have a valid PeeringDB entry. Thank you for your understanding. Re: [epf-orga] Attendance Policy

by Arnold Nipper

Dear all I've matched the attendees list [0] against our policy [1]. See the Excel file attached. Please check those entries which are marked "Sponsor, Partner, IXP, but not customer" (e.g. Cogent, KPN, HOPUS, COLT, ...) From Caro, I learned that the Host IXP may also propose up to 50 ASN. There is nothing about it in our policy. What are the criteria for those ASN to get an approval? China Mobile's 2nd ASN must read 58453 and not 588453. Dear all IMO, it should be clear that selection criteria are mutual exclusive. I.e. a company can't ride on a partner ticket *and* e.g. IXP ticket. We apply the same rule for sponsors. I.e. a sponsor can attend with up the number of attendees listed in the package and no other selection criteria apply. Attendance Policy

by Arnold Nipper

Dear all May I kindly ask you to strictly adhere to our attendance policy? We only have a limited capacity. Especially when it comes to IXPs, which are also customers, please make sure that the eligibility requirements are: * must have an ASN and peer at least at one IXP of the organisers * must have a PeeringDB entry Peering at least at one IXP of the organisers also means this is documented in PeeringDB (alternatively, via your IX-F JSON). We run into major issues when we do not apply the policy strictly. TIA and greetings Arnold

EPF CoC

by Arnold Nipper

Hi Team I've created a folder "Policies" in the EPF Google Drive [0] and moved the file "EPF Attendance Policy" to it. As this file refers to our CoC I've created two versions (one with Claude, the other with GPT) based on RIPE's CoC (RIPE 766). Please review and make up your mind. The GPT version is my favourite. Left to do for the orga team: compile a list of partners (max 20). Greetings Arnold [0]
