Dear teams please find * the CoC * Information Sharing and Attribution Policy in the Policies folder [0]. If you don't have access, please let me know. I would much appreciate it if we could agree on both documents and have them on the website, even if the attendees didn't agree to adhere to them. DPA // MEET admin
by Arnold Nipper Aug. 23, 2026

Aug. 23, 2026

Hi Ladies I'm working on the CoC with the help of AI. Now, it's asking me: --- 1. Who currently holds MEET admin access for 2026, and can it be narrowed to two people from the same IXP (lead host) or one from each of two IXPs? 2. Is there an existing Article 28 DPA [0] with NIX.CZ, who signed it, and does it include a commercial-confidentiality clause beyond the standard security annex? --- TIA and greetings Arnold [0] https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/HTML/?uri=CELEX:32016R0679

EPF 19 Attendance – NL-IX and Open Peering
by Carolin Geib Aug. 21, 2026

Aug. 21, 2026

Dear NL-IX and Open Peering colleagues, I hope you are well. Following a review of the EPF registrations, we received a note regarding the registrations from NL-IX and Open Peering. As both entities belong to the same parent organisation, Broadband Hosting B.V., we need to apply the EPF attendance policy accordingly. The relevant rule states: "The attendance limit applies per organisation, not per ASN. This means that organisations with multiple ASNs connected to one or more host IXPs are still limited to a maximum of four representatives in total. Separate entities belonging to the same parent organisation may be treated as a single entity for capacity limits." As a Silver Sponsor, your sponsorship includes four attendees. Four representatives is also the maximum number of participants permitted per network under the general EPF attendance rules. Therefore, if NL-IX and Open Peering would like to attend with six representatives in total, it would be necessary to upgrade the sponsorship to Platinum, which would allow the additional attendees. If you would prefer to remain on the Silver Sponsorship, could you please let us know which four participants will attend the EPF and whose names we should remove from the registration list by Monday, 24 August, at the latest? We fully appreciate that this may be inconvenient, and we hope you understand that we need to apply the rules consistently to ensure a fair and balanced event for all participants and sponsors. Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation. Please let us know how you would like to proceed. Best regards, Carolin On behalf of the EPF hosts

EPF CoC
by Arnold Nipper Aug. 19, 2026

Aug. 19, 2026

Hi Team I've created a folder "Policies" in the EPF Google Drive [0] and moved the file "EPF Attendance Policy" to it. As this file refers to our CoC I've created two versions (one with Claude, the other with GPT) based on RIPE's CoC (RIPE 766). Please review and make up your mind. The GPT version is my favourite. Left to do for the orga team: compile a list of partners (max 20). Greetings Arnold [0]

I completely understand and respect that EPF scope. I would, however, like to appeal the decision, as I am part of the Business Development team , my intention in attending EPF is specifically to participate in the networking and community discussions around peering and connectivity. I am not looking to attend the event as a sales representative or to conduct commercial activity. My goal is simply to participate in the event, meet other members of the community, and engage in the discussions. I would be happy to follow the event's guidelines and ensure that my participation remains focused on networking and the peering community. I would really appreciate it if you could reconsider my registration.
