Hi Julia/all On 2026-06-25 21:41, Julia Lechien wrote: > I pasted the text from the google doc, just replaced Euro-IX members by > IXPs (like we discussed). > Thanks a lot. I propose one last, minor change: Old version: Partners of 1 or 2 organising hosts can send 1 attendee against the standard registration fee of 500 Euro. Partners of 3 or 4 organising hosts can send 2 attendees each, for a maximum of 20 partner attendees. New version: Partners of 1 or 2 organising hosts can send 1 attendee. Partners of 3 or 4 organising hosts can send 2 attendees. The number of partner attendees is limited to 20. The standard registration fee of 500 Euro applies. Why: In the old version, it is unclear for whom the limit of 20 participants applies. What do you think? Q: do we really mean partner attendees? Or partner organisations? Currently, it means attendees, leaving room for 10 to 20 organisations. Greetings Arnold

Re: [epf-orga] [epf-info] EPF 2026 - registration declined
by Carolin Geib June 24, 2026

June 24, 2026

Dear Philippe, I hope you are doing well. Thank you for your email. You are correct—you are a customer of DE-CIX. For EPF, all four organizing hosts have agreed to adhere strictly to our policy regarding attendance, due to limited capacity. As a result, we are unfortunately unable to make exceptions as we may have done in previous years. According to the policy, organizations that are peering at any of the four host IXPs and/or the guest IXP are welcome to send up to two participants to EPF free of charge, provided they have a valid PeeringDB entry. Thank you for your understanding. Attendance Policy
by Arnold Nipper June 22, 2026

June 22, 2026

Dear all May I kindly ask you to strictly adhere to our attendance policy? We only have a limited capacity. Especially when it comes to IXPs, which are also customers, please make sure that the eligibility requirements are: * must have an ASN and peer at least at one IXP of the organisers * must have a PeeringDB entry Peering at least at one IXP of the organisers also means this is documented in PeeringDB (alternatively, via your IX-F JSON). We run into major issues when we do not apply the policy strictly. TIA and greetings Arnold

Fwd: [epf-info] EPF 2026 - registration declined // Turkcell Superonline
by Arnold Nipper June 9, 2026

June 9, 2026

Good morning Bülent Cetin Kaya was declined access to EPF because of his International Wholesale Data Sales Mngt.associate Director title. However, he claims that he is basically a Peering Manager. Can you confirm? Turkcell (AS34984, [0]) is our customer in Istanbul and Frankfurt and also a customer of AMS-IX and LINX. Greetings Arnold [0] https://www.peeringdb.com/net/3497 -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: [epf-info] EPF 2026 - registration declined Resent-Date: Tue, 9 Jun 2026 09:25:32 +0200 (CEST) Resent-From: arnold.nipper(a)de-cix.net Date: Tue, 9 Jun 2026 07:24:05 +0000 From: CETIN KAYA <cetin.kaya(a)turkcell.com.tr> To: info(a)peering-forum.eu <info(a)peering-forum.eu> Dear EPF Thank you for reviewing my registration. I understand that my current title might have raised a flag regarding the "no-commercial" policy of the forum, and I appreciate your diligence in maintaining the technical integrity of the event. However, I would like to clarify that my role at Turkcell Superonline is highly technical and operational, focused heavily on Interconnection and Peering Coordination. While my title aligns with the business/account management side, my primary responsibilities for this event involve: ∙ Discussing BGP session establishment and routing policies directly with potential and existing partners. ∙ Analyzing traffic flows, latency optimization, and capacity planning for our network ∙ Managing our PeeringDB presence and ensuring technical alignment with other networks. My objective at the forum is strictly non-commercial. I am attending to discuss network architecture optimization, traffic exchange, and to meet our technical peers to improve our interconnection strategy. I have absolutely no intention of conducting aggressive sales pitches or violating the forum's guidelines. Given this context, I kindly request a re-evaluation of my application. I would be more than happy to provide any further technical details about our network strategy if needed. Thank you for your time and understanding.
