Dear Orga Team Caro and I discussed this topic a couple of days ago. Currently, the website (and our internal rules) say: --- 4.2 Capacity Management - Total venue capacity: 400 attendees approx - Reserved allocations are protected within category limits - Allocations from the categories are mutually exclusive - Remaining seats are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis - Final 10% of capacity reserved for last-minute VIP attendees and contingencies --- I.e. the allocations from the categories are mutually exclusive. Which is fine, IMO, except for the sponsors. Did you agree how to handle it? And did you discuss the CoC? Hello Mark, We would like to let you know that we can only approve your registration once a decision has been made regarding your presentation submission. According to the current participation regulations, acceptance of your presentation is what qualifies you to attend the EPF. As the Call for Presentations is still open, the review process is ongoing. We kindly ask for a little more patience while the submissions are being evaluated. Thank you for your understanding. We will inform you as soon as a decision has been made. Schedule for EPF 2026
by Arnold Nipper July 20, 2026

July 20, 2026

Hi Orga Team I've attached a proposal for the EPF 2026 schedule Day Start 2026-09-14 09:30 2026-09-15 08:50 2026-09-16 09:15 with a 25-minute coffee break For Monday, the official programme starts at 09:00. However, presentations start at 09:30 with the Guest IXP (France-IX) presentation. We always end at 12:00 for lunch, except on Wednesday, where we need an extra 10 minutes for the closing. That leaves us with 21 20-minutes presentations. So far, we have 23 submissions, roughly half of them look acceptable so far. We are still missing the submissions from the sponsors (Amazon, Netflix, Kentik, ???) Greetings Arnold

Dear Silvia, You are not currently peering at any of the four EPF host IXPs and/or the guest IXP. As we are committed to applying the EPF attendance policy consistently and fairly to all applicants, we must adhere strictly to these rules and are therefore unable to make exceptions. Thank you very much for your understanding. I would like to respectfully ask you to reconsider your decision regarding my registration. While my job title is Director, Premier Accounts, my primary interest in attending the European Peering Forum is purely technical. My work is closely related to peering strategies, Internet Exchange ecosystems, and interconnection, and I regularly engage in technical discussions around these topics. Although I work within the sales organization, I am not attending EPF for sales purposes. My objective is to learn from the community, exchange knowledge, and better understand the technical and operational aspects of peering and IXPs. I fully appreciate that EPF is a community-driven event rather than a commercial venue, and I completely respect that philosophy. I hope you will consider my request in light of the above and allow me to participate in this year's forum. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your message. We have reviewed your request, but we cannot accept your registration. As stated in the event requirements, attendance for networks is strictly limited to active customers of the organizing partners. Please be advised that the organizing committee is strictly enforcing these criteria this year without exception. Consequently, we cannot grant access to the event or the venue, regardless of any travel or accommodation bookings you may have already made. We request that you refrain from making further arrangements for this or future editions unless your company holds an active customer status. Thank you for respecting our event policies.
