I also participated this event before (Athens, Paris), but unfortunately I did not receive an invite. Zsolt and myself are planning to apply now that we finally have our internal approvals and we’d plan to bring a 3rd colleague as well if it is possible (Gökhan). EPF CoC
by Arnold Nipper Aug. 19, 2026

Aug. 19, 2026

Hi Team I've created a folder "Policies" in the EPF Google Drive [0] and moved the file "EPF Attendance Policy" to it. As this file refers to our CoC I've created two versions (one with Claude, the other with GPT) based on RIPE's CoC (RIPE 766). Please review and make up your mind. The GPT version is my favourite. Left to do for the orga team: compile a list of partners (max 20). Greetings Arnold [0]

Re: [epf-orga] [EXT] EPF 2026 - registration declined
by Carolin Geib Aug. 5, 2026

Aug. 5, 2026

Dear Julian, Thank you for your interest in participating in the EPF Forum. We would kindly ask you to understand and accept that your registration has unfortunately been declined because the EPF is a networking event specifically dedicated to the peering community and is not intended as a commercial or sales-oriented event. As such, participation by commercial or sales representatives from participating networks is discouraged, as the focus of the forum is on technical exchange, operational discussions, and peer-to-peer networking within the community. We appreciate your understanding that, based on your current role and responsibilities in sales, you unfortunately do not meet the participation criteria for this particular event. This is not a reflection of your company or your interest in the community, but rather a matter of maintaining the intended character and purpose of the EPF Forum. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope there will be other opportunities for collaboration in an appropriate context. Kind regards, on behalf of the organizers Carolin Von: Peering-forum-info-list <peering-forum-info-list-bounces(a)peering-forum.eu> Im Auftrag von Curtis Julian via Peering-forum-info-list Gesendet: Mittwoch, 15. I wanted to follow up regarding my registration for the European Peering Forum, as this situation has arisen in previous years. Please see the attached email for reference. The knowledge and connections gained at these forums have been directly beneficial to my responsibilities . With that in mind, I kindly ask you to reconsider my registration. Re: [epf-orga] Urgent: EPF Mailing lists

Hi Julia and Daniel as AMS-IX is handling the whole DNS and Mail, it doesn't make sense to me that we now carve out the ML. Hence, please * alias epf-pc to pc * set up a new ML pc on Discourse with the old epf-pc members * alias info to orga (IMO there is no need for the info ML anymore) * migrate orga to Discourse Greetings Arnold On 2026-07-30 16:10, Julia Lechien wrote: > Hi all, > > FYI, we’re in the process of replacing /Mailman/, the platform we > currently use for our mailing lists, with /Discourse/. > > We’ve just realised that /Mailman /is also hosting the EPF lists (info, > program committee, attendees). > > The EPF attendee list is already covered, as we can use Mailchimp for that. > > Mailman will be switched off on 1 September, so we need to decide what > to do with the info and program committee lists. Re: [epf-orga] [epf-info] EPF 2026 - registration declined
by Arnold Nipper July 29, 2026

Dear Orga Team Caro and I discussed this topic a couple of days ago. Currently, the website (and our internal rules) say: --- 4.2 Capacity Management - Total venue capacity: 400 attendees approx - Reserved allocations are protected within category limits - Allocations from the categories are mutually exclusive - Remaining seats are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis - Final 10% of capacity reserved for last-minute VIP attendees and contingencies --- I.e. the allocations from the categories are mutually exclusive. Which is fine, IMO, except for the sponsors. Did you agree how to handle it? And did you discuss the CoC? Hi Marissa, Please connect with the organizing team regarding sponsorship opportunities, as some packages include speaker slots. Note that the regular CfP is now closed, and we are no longer accepting standard submissions. Hello Mark, We would like to let you know that we can only approve your registration once a decision has been made regarding your presentation submission. According to the current participation regulations, acceptance of your presentation is what qualifies you to attend the EPF. As the Call for Presentations is still open, the review process is ongoing. We kindly ask for a little more patience while the submissions are being evaluated. Thank you for your understanding. We will inform you as soon as a decision has been made. Schedule for EPF 2026
by Arnold Nipper July 20, 2026

July 20, 2026

Hi Orga Team I've attached a proposal for the EPF 2026 schedule Day Start 2026-09-14 09:30 2026-09-15 08:50 2026-09-16 09:15 with a 25-minute coffee break For Monday, the official programme starts at 09:00. However, presentations start at 09:30 with the Guest IXP (France-IX) presentation. We always end at 12:00 for lunch, except on Wednesday, where we need an extra 10 minutes for the closing. That leaves us with 21 20-minutes presentations. So far, we have 23 submissions, roughly half of them look acceptable so far. We are still missing the submissions from the sponsors (Amazon, Netflix, Kentik, ???) Greetings Arnold
